Installation

- Download
FlareTokens-<version>.jarand put it inplugins/. - Start the server. All files are created by themselves (see the table below).
- PlaceholderAPI is downloaded and started automatically if missing (
auto-installinconfig.yml).
| File | |
|---|---|
config.yml | main settings |
lang/en.yml | every message |
shops/ | your shops (main.yml hub, ranks.yml, items.yml examples) |
menus/ | the plugin menus (tokens.yml, top.yml, history.yml, confirm.yml, admin.yml) |
drops.yml | tokens from mobs (off by default) |
Tip: keep only one FlareTokens jar in plugins/. Two jars (for example 3.1.5 and 4.0.0) means the server loads the wrong one.
Updating from FlareTokens 3.x

Just replace the jar. On the first start:
- your old files are saved in
plugins/FlareTokens/backup-3.x/ - storage, MySQL, first-join tokens, pay and cheque settings move to the new
config.yml - your shops move from
shop/toshops/(same format, they work as they are and can be edited in the editor) - balances are not touched: same
data/data.db, same MySQL table, samedata/data.yml - old cheques can still be redeemed; the 3.x placeholders and permissions keep working
- messages are now in
lang/en.yml: if you edited the oldlocale/en.yml, copy your texts from the backup
Removed in 4.0: check(javascript,...) (Java has no JavaScript engine any more, use check(expression;a;op;b)) and [op(...)] (unsafe, use [CONSOLE] with {player}).
Updating between 4.x versions
Replace the jar. New options and messages are added to your files by themselves; your edits are never touched.
